Valerie
has participated in a variety of art venues in Reno, Nevada
aside from her gallery exhibitions which include: Toni Lowden's
Artouring during ARTown, St. Mary's Hospital Fundraisers,
and UNR's Sheppard Gallery Valentine Auctions, Sparks Parks
and Rec.'s "Sample the Arts" and "Arts in Bloom", and Soroptomist's
Intl.'s "Arts & Authors", and the Nevada State Fair Art Competition.

Through
her affiliation with Sierra Arts Foundation, she was featured
in the City 2000 Gallery at Reno's City Hall and shows in
their "Starving Artist Sale". Her "Guardians" exhibition at
the McKinley Arts and Cultural Center was funded through a
Nevada Arts Council Jackpot grant. Valerie took her "Guardian"
show to Santa Fe, New Mexico at the Jean Cocteau Theatre Gallery,
as well as the Rocky Mountain Gallery in Salt Lake City, Utah,
and the Canyonwood Gallery in Thousand Oaks, California. Valerie
exhibited her new vineyard paintings at River Gallery in Reno
and Generations Fine Art Gallery in Yountville-Napa, Ca. For

Valerie
has shown her "Lake Tahoe" series at the James Harold Gallery
in Tahoe City, Ca., the Backstreet Framers Gallery in Truckee,
Ca. and the River Gallery in Reno. Local Reno galleries
that Valerie exhibits her work through are: The River Gallery,
Record Street Caf», and The Bleu Lyon Studio/Gallery. Valerie
has been interviewed for KUNR's "Artists-in-Residence Series"
as well as KDBD's "Art Connection" radio show.
